Prince Academy first in the country in the All India Inter School Band Competition
For the first time, Rajasthan won the title of both male and female sections of the National Band Competition.
It is a matter of pride for the whole of Rajasthan that the musical band of Sikar-based CBSE English Medium School, Prince Academy, has been awarded the first prize in the All India Inter School Band Competition in both male and female categories. This is the first time in the history of the country that the band of the same school has been awarded the first prize simultaneously in both the boys and girls sections.
This All India Inter School Band Competition was organized under the joint aegis of Ministry of Defence, Government of India and Ministry of Education, Government of India. 300 school bands from across the country, both male and female, participated in the competition.
In the first phase of the competition, top-8 bands from across the country were selected by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The second and final stage was organized by Ministry of Defence, Government of India at National War Memorial, India Gate, New Delhi in which top-8 selected bands from across the country participated. The Musical Brass Band of Sikar-based CBSE English Medium School, Prince Academy, has been awarded the first prize across the country in both student and student categories in the rankings announced by the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Education.
In the closing ceremony, Sanjay Kumar, Secretary School Education, Government of India, Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra, along with various officers of the Ministry of Defense and Education, Prince Musical Band Leader Chanchal, Sahil, Prince Ezuhub, Chairman Dr. Piyush Sunda, Managing Director, received the first position. Ramakant Swami and band instructor retired Capt. K.C. Bhatt was honored with trophy and citation.

सम्पूर्ण राजस्थान के लिए गौरव का विषय है कि सीकर स्थित सीबीएसई इंग्लिश मीडियम स्कूल प्रिंस एकेडमी के म्यूजिकल बैण्ड को ऑल इंडिया इंटर स्कूल बैंड कॉम्पिटिशन में छात्र व छात्रा दोनों वर्गों में सम्पूर्ण भारत में प्रथम पुरस्कार से नवाजा गया है। देश के इतिहास में यह पहला अवसर है जब किसी एक ही स्कूल के बैण्ड को छात्र व छात्रा दोनों वर्गों में एक साथ प्रथम पुरस्कार से नवाजा गया है।
इस ऑल इंडिया इंटर स्कूल बैंड कॉम्पिटिशन का आयोजन रक्षा मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार एवं शिक्षा मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में किया गया। प्रतियोगिता में देशभर से छात्र एवं छात्रा वर्ग के 300 स्कूल बैंड शामिल हुए।
प्रतियोगिता के पहले चरण में शिक्षा मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार द्वारा देश भर से टॉप-8 बैंड का चयन किया गया। दूसरे एवं निर्णायक चरण का आयोजन रक्षा मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार द्वारा नेशनल वॉर मेमोरियल, इंडिया गेट, नई दिल्ली पर किया गया जिसमें देशभर से चयनित टॉप-8 बैण्ड ने हिस्सा लिया। रक्षा मंत्रालय एवं शिक्षा मंत्रालय द्वारा घोषित रैंकिंग में सीकर स्थित सीबीएसई इंग्लिश मीडियम स्कूल प्रिंस एकेडमी के म्यूजिकल ब्रास बैंड को छात्र एवं छात्र दोनों वर्गों में देशभर में प्रथम पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया है।
समापन समारोह में शिक्षा मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार के स्कूल शिक्षा सचिव संजय कुमार, एयर मार्शल जितेन्द्र मिश्रा सहित रक्षा एवं शिक्षा मंत्रालय के विभिन्न अधिकारियों ने प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त प्रिंस म्यूजिकल बैण्ड के लीडर चंचल, साहिल, प्रिंस एजुहब चेयरमैन डा. पीयूष सुंडा, प्रबंध निदेशक रमाकांत स्वामी एवं बैंड इंस्ट्रक्टर रिटायर्ड कैप्टन के.सी. भट्ट को ट्रॉफी एवं प्रशस्ति पत्र देकर सम्मानित किया।
