HPV Vaccination Camp Organized at Prince Academy

The Health Department of Sikar organized an HPV vaccination camp for girls at Prince Academy—a CBSE English-medium school—to provide protection against cervical cancer. As part of this initiative, hundreds of girls aged between 14 years and 15 years and 3 months were vaccinated.

Cervical cancer is a life-threatening disease affecting women, caused by the Human Papillomavirus (HPV); however, it can be prevented through timely vaccination. With this objective in mind, the Health Department of Sikar is administering this vaccine to girls free of cost.

Attendees at the vaccination camp included RCHO Dr. Vishal Singh; Dr. Harish Poonia, HOD of Pediatrics at SK Medical College, Sikar; and Dr. Priyanka Beniwal from the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the District Hospital, Laxmangarh. They were joined by Prince Academy's Managing Director, M.R. Agarwal; Principal Poonam Chauhan; and thousands of students.
